The Digital Landscape

Our digital world creates new opportunities to connect, learn, and participate, but it also brings challenges that can deepen existing inequalities and affect how communities experience the online world.

An alliance for digital citizenship

Digizens Alliance grew out of a collaboration between Youth Beyond Borders fellows from Myanmar and Sri Lanka. "Digizens" stands for "Digital Citizens," reflecting our commitment to ethical, knowledgeable digital practices — and as an "Alliance," we work together to meet the challenges our digital communities face.

Together, we work to promote digital peace, harmony, and inclusion, so that everyone — not just one group, in not just one place — can thrive in the digital age.

Our Mission

To empower marginalized communities — including migrant workers, refugees, and others — together with youth, by equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and opportunities they need to thrive in today's digital world.
